Objective:
The objective of this project was to design a kombucha label for a local business in London, ON, called Rebel Kombucha, and to sell the design to them.
Process:
While designing my label, I wanted to incorporate the sustainable manufacturing process that Rebel Kombucha was using to produce their product. They found a way to use cotton offcuts that would normally be textile waste and use them to produce kombucha. With this in mind, I knew that I wanted to use the same material for the labels and screen print my design on the bottles. This meant that I had to come up with a simple yet eye-catching design with limited colours.
